Alarm

How this alarm works

This is an in-page alarm: it schedules a target moment in your local timezone and shows a live countdown. When the alarm moment is reached, it can play a short beep pattern, show a visual alert, and (on supported devices) vibrate.

Keep the tab open

Browsers may throttle background tabs. For best reliability, keep this tab open and active.

Audio requires interaction

Many browsers block audio until you interact. Use “Test alarm” once to unlock sound.

Examples

Alarm at a time

Set a target date and time, then enable the alarm.

Alarm in N minutes

Pick “In N minutes” for quick short-term alarms.

Before target

Trigger a few seconds before your target moment.

Stop at target

Freeze at 00:00:00 when the target is reached.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this alarm work if I close the tab?â–Ľ
No. This is an in-page alarm. It works while the page/tab is open (and works best when the tab is active).
Why did the sound not play?â–Ľ
Some browsers block audio until you interact with the page. Use “Test alarm” once to allow sound, and keep the tab active.
Can I set an alarm a few seconds before?â–Ľ
Yes. Choose “Before target” and set how many seconds before the target moment to trigger.
Which timezone does it use?â–Ľ
The target and “now” are interpreted in your device’s local timezone, and the result shows a timezone label (e.g., GMT+05:30).
